What I did while the World ended.
It's been a while since I
posted anything new, this is because at the moment I am attempting to get ahead
of myself, in a way. That is to say, I am trying to complete the drawings for
my next post before I publish it, as at the moment I publish a post and add the
drawings as I complete them. This creates a feeling of always running behind
while being ahead, confusing I know, it would be more accurate to describe it
as; having to complete something I was interested in while also creating things
I am now interested in.
The previous paragraph was
a rather complicated way of saying that my next post won't be ready for a few
weeks so until then here are some drawings to pass the time.
So, the pictures. As
anyone who has read my first post for this blog, as well as anyone who finds
their way here from Twitter, will know, I have been posting my recreations on
social media for a good few years now. Then I stopped drawing for a year and a
bittish, before the World stopped for what seems like years, but which is only
really six months at the time of writing. In an attempt to break myself away
from boredom and endless online streaming binge-watching marathons, I began
recreating pictures, comic covers and splash pages really, just for
myself.
This new-found passion for
drawing, which, among other things, led to the creation of this blog, has
developed over this year, leading to a lot of these drawings being discarded as
new interests arose.
Most, if not all, of these have been published on Twitter.
However, those are reduced size versions due to my drawing really big, how big?
About two-foot-wide by three foot tall.
Anyway, enough of this pointless wittering, here are the pictures…
